OTS Releases September Enforcement Statistics

WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 1, 2000 – The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) reported today that it completed seven enforcement actions during the month of September 2000.

For the month of September there were:

The following orders were issued in September:

  1. Waymona Lisa Bess, former employee and institution-affiliated party, Commercial Federal Bank, A FSB, Omaha, Neb., stipulation and consent to the issuance of an order of prohibition, and an order to cease and desist for affirmative relief, dated September 11, 2000.
  2. Abby D. Boose, former employee and institution-affiliated party, Capitol Federal Savings Bank, Topeka, Kan., stipulation and consent to the issuance of an order of prohibition, and an order to cease and desist for affirmative relief, dated September 22, 2000.
  3. Life Bank, Riverside, Calif., supervisory agreement, dated September 25, 2000.
  4. Prestige Bank, A Federal Savings Association, Pittsburgh, Pa., supervisory agreement, dated September 20, 2000.
  5. First Federal Savings Bank, Bryan, Texas, supervisory agreement, dated September 22, 2000.
