CRA Workshop for Community-Based Organizations: Creating Successful Partnerships with Banks

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco are cosponsoring a workshop in Phoenix, Ariz., on September 27, 2019. The workshop will provide a basic overview of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and discuss how community organizations can collaborate more effectively with banks on community development projects. Topics covered include the impact of bank performance context on a bank's CRA activities, the types of bank activities that qualify for CRA consideration, and strategies that community-based organizations may consider to develop successful partnerships with banks.
